Privacy Consent & Disclosure

To: Macquarie Leasing Pty Limited (ABN38 002 674 982 ("You" or "Your").

"Agents" means any agents, introducers, dealers, brokers, service providers and any other financier who at any time provides or has any interest in the credit (including other entities involved in any securitisation of the credit provided to you).

"Credit Information" refers to: permitted identification information; the fact that credit has been applied for and the amount and type of credit; the fact that the You aare a current credit provider; the credit limit and loan start/end dates; repayment history; "default information" (in addition to and without limiting repayment history information), i.e. payments overdue for more than 60 days in specified circumstances; in relation to those overdue payments, advice about new payment arrangements or that those payments are no longer overdue; in specified circumstances that in Your opinion there has been a serious credit infringement (e.g. fraud); and other credit-related personal information that is described in the Macquarie Bank Privacy Policy, Credit Reporting Policy or can otherwise be disclosed under the Privacy Act.

"Personal Information" means information or an opinion, whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.

I consent and agree to You collecting, using, holding and disclosing my personal and Credit Information and exchanging such information with Your Agents (now or in the future, within or outside Australia) for the following purposes:

Seek consumer and commercial credit information and use information about me (including Credit Information and information derived from Credit Reporting Bodies ("CRBs")) to:
- assess an application by me for consumer credit or commercial credit;
- manage my loan and related funding arrangements, and assess hardship applications;
- assess an application to be a guarantor in relation to credit
- review my credit on a periodic basis or in connection with changes (e.g. credit limit) as though assessing a new application;
- collect overdue payments; and
- create assessments and ratings of my credit worthiness.
Exchange information with CRBs for the purposes described above and to allow the CRB to maintain information about my credit worthiness (before, during or after the provision of credit).
Exchange information with other credit providers, including my personal and Credit Information for any purposes permitted by law including:
- assessing my applications for credit (or to be a guarantor), hardship or to assess my credit worthiness (during or after the life of a credit arrangement);
- determining or confirming the status of my credit (including any defaults); and
- to give or obtain an opinion on me about my credit worthiness.
Exchange information with other parties, including my brokers, advisers and other representatives, suppliers or dealers of items the subject of my application, guarantors, and any credit enhancer, persons with whom You have white label arrangements (e.g. to sell Macquarie products under another brand), funders, insurers, entity concerned with the supply or manufacture of assets to me, any ratings agency or other party acting in connection with funding credit by means of securitization and service providers including those relating to any associate rewards program and the types of service providers described in Macquarie's Privacy Policy. Other disclosures of personal information may include to my referees, past and present employers, next of kin, account holders and operators, identity verification service providers and debt collection agencies.
General account management and administration, including processing this and any future applications, communication and monitoring, auditing and evaluating products and services provided, model and test data, improve and develop products and services, conduct credit scoring, securitisation, research, risk management and portfolio analysis, provide and administer any related rewards program and deal with any complaints or enquiries.

I acknowledge that You:

(Information Collection) collect personal information through interactions with me and my nominated adviser(s) or broker (including telephone, email or online), as well as Agents, public sources and third parties including information brokers. Without this information, You may not be able to process my application or provide me with an appropriate level of service.
(Compliance) collect and may disclose my personal information under various laws including the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act; National Consumer Credit Protection Act (in relation to consumer credit); the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act; the Personal Property Securities Act and certain state property laws. You may also disclose personal information to regulatory authorities in Australia and overseas in connection with their lawful requests.
(Sensitive Information) may collect sensitive information for specific purposes (e.g. information regarding my health to enable the assessment of a hardship relief application), and may use and disclose such information for those purposes and seek such information from my health providers.
(Third Party Consent) rely on me to ensure that any personal information about someone else that I give to the Bank has consented to me providing their information to You based on this Privacy Consent.
(Service Providers) and Your Agents may exchange my personal information with their related companies, other funders and service providers that assist in the management of my credit (the types of which are described in Macquarie's Privacy Policy). In some circumstances these parties may operate outside of Australia (including locations in the United Kingdom, The Philippines, India, the US, Canada and the countries specified in Macquarie`s Privacy Policy). Whilst these parties may be subject to confidentiality or privacy obligations, they may not always follow the particular requirements of Australian privacy laws.
(Electronic Communication) may use electronic communication to give me notices or documents. If a notice or document is so given, it will be taken to be given at the time when the notice or document has entered my information system. Where a notice or document requires acceptance of the information contained therein, such an intention can be met electronically with the utilisation of an electronic signature. I am aware that paper notices and documents may no longer be given to me and instead electronic communications should be regularly checked for notices and other documents. Where I would prefer to receive physical copies of notices or documents, my consent to electronic communication may be withdrawn by me at any time.
(Marketing) and Your related companies and Agents may use my personal information to contact me on an ongoing basis by telephone, email, online and other means to offer me products or services that may be of interest, unless where I elect to receive marketing material and that I may change my marketing preferences by telephoning You or registering my preference online.

Under the Privacy Act, I understand that I may request access to and correction of the personal information that You hold about me. I may also request a copy of Macquarie's privacy policies and (where applicable) credit reporting policies which contain further details about their handling of personal and Credit Information, how I may access or update that information, how privacy concerns are dealt with, website privacy information, which CRBs are used, how I can request copies of information and exercise other rights with CRBs including access, correction and limits on the disclosure of Credit Information. Macquarie`s Privacy Policy and Credit Reporting Policy can be found via www.macquarie.com.au.
