In considering your application for financial assistance, we collect your personal and credit information. Please refer to our Macquarie Group Privacy Policy and Credit Information Policy which explains how we handle your personal and credit information. If you are also providing the personal and credit information for the joint borrower, you confirm you have their permission. In the event you do not have permission, or the co-borrower would like to provide information directly, please call our team.

If you are currently in arrears, we may have already reported this information to credit reporting bodies.
While we are assessing your request for financial assistance if your repayments are or become overdue, we may be required to report your repayment history to credit reporting bodies.
If we approve financial assistance, we may be required to report that arrangement and repayments under the arrangement to credit reporting bodies. This may also be referred to as a financial hardship arrangement and financial hardship information. Financial hardship information is recorded on a credit report for a period of 12 months.
